I am a doctor-turned-artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of the natural world on canvas. I live in central Scotland and take inspiration from the rural landscapes surrounding me. I work mainly with acrylic paints and occasionally in oils to create contemporary paintings with vibrant colour and texture. Landscapes incorporating dramatic skies, water, woodland and wildlife provide the inspiration for many of my paintings. My work has naturally evolved over time and now includes a range of animals including pet portraits, equine portraits and wild animals. For those requiring a bespoke painting, commissions are welcome.
