Saturday 24th May 2008 - Sunday 1st June 2008 at Perth Museum and Art Gallery. Perthshire Art Association exhibition
2008 AGM was held on 8th April 2008.
A list of office bearers will be added shortly - but just to let you know that the charities to benefit from funds raised in 2008 are : Blair Atholl & Pitlochry Junior Pipe Band, MacMillan Cancer Care Centre Perth and Alzheimer Scotland (£ 700 each)
SUE CHALLIS will be the solo exhibitor at The River Room, Pitlochry Festival theatre from 27th April 2008. Sue will be at the opening of the exhibition at the theatre on 27th April between 2pm & 5pm.
KEITH PANTON - exhibiting at the di Rollo Gallery,
Dundas Street, Edinburgh.
Born in 1951, in Perth, Keith spent his childhood in Pitlochry. He attended Dundee University, graduating with an M.A Honours degree in English in 1974. After completing teacher training, he embarked on a teaching career at Harris Acedemy in Dundee where he remained until his retirement in 2002.
Although he has a particular interest in landscapes, he has always had a fascination for abstract art and has recently rediscovered an interest in still life. Influences on his work are as diverse as James McIntosh Patrick, the French Impressionists and contemporary Scottish art.
Keith continues to exhibit at various societies in Dundee, as well as Pitlochry's own art society. He has also exhibited at the White Gallery in Dundee and at Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
